Join me for a peaceful Hatha yoga practice, working through a gentle flow of postures followed by breathing and relaxation to relax the body and calm the mind. These sessions have been organised by the U.matter team, a Health Matters initiative by the University of Leicester, promoting health and wellness for all.
The yoga will be held in the Gallery room on the ground floor, next to the cafe area.
Yoga session information:
Ages 18 and above
10:15am arrival to start promptly at 10.30am
Class finishes at 11.30am
FREE to attend
All abilities welcome
Practice will be in bare foot or grippy yoga socks
Please bring a yoga mat and a cosy blanket or extra warm layers to stay warm during relaxation
It is advisable to practice on an empty stomach, so leave about 2 hours after a large meal or 1 hour after a light meal.

There will be a short break after the yoga session which will be followed by the FREE Drawing and Writing for Wellbeing session, lead by Scott Bridgwood and Lydia Towsey between 12pm-1pm.
You can attend just one or both of the sessions!
